Does my child need to see a Speech Pathologist?Your child may benefit from an assessment if you have concerns with their speech sounds, understanding, or talking. What can I expect for my child's first appointment?We will attempt to get most background information prior to your child's first appointment. Initial assessment appointments are usually 90 minutes. In the first appointment, I will spend some time getting to know your child and you as their parent, and then commence assessment. On completion of the assessment, we will organise a feedback session to discuss the results.

Do you provide services to clients with NDIS funding?Yes. I can provide services to NDIS participants who are self managed or plan managed.

Are you able to process any rebates?Yes. I am able to process private health rebates if Speech Pathology is included in your family's extras cover. I am able to process GP care plan medicare rebates if I am named on the referral. There will be a gap payment as I do not bulk bill.

Do you provide mobile services?I am able to travel within a 20km radius of my home clinic in Oxenford on Mondays if there is time in my schedule. There will be a charge of $20 added to your invoice.

What are your fees?Initial comprehensive assessment (incl. 90 minute session and report) - $320 Initial speech sounds only assessment (incl. 60 minute session and report) - $240 60 minute therapy session - $160 Standard 45 minute therapy session - $120 30 minute therapy session - $80 A comprehensive assessment includes assessment of all areas of concern (e.g. language and literacy, language and speech). A cancellation fee of $30 is required for cancellations within 24 hours.

What if my child has already had an assessment?If your child has recently had an assessment from another Speech Pathologist, your first appointment will be 60 minutes. In this appointment, I will get to know you and your child, talk about therapy goals, and possibly do some short assessments to help put together a treatment plan.
